1. About Equity Match
This website is operated by 9338-1556 Québec inc. ("we", "us") under the name Equity Match. It is a lead generation and matching service. We are not a lender or a mortgage broker. We do not provide loans or credit, and we do not give financial, legal or tax advice.
2. How it works
You submit a request through a form operated by our partner LeadScout (9480-6353 Québec inc.). Your request is transmitted to lenders or mortgage professionals in its network, who may contact you about the options you asked for. You are under no obligation to accept any offer.
3. No guarantee
Submitting a request does not guarantee approval, a rate, an amount or any particular result. All financing is subject to the lender's approval (OAC) and to its own terms. Options vary by lender, province and personal situation. A home equity line of credit is secured by your home.
4. Compensation
We may receive compensation from our partners when you submit a request or obtain financing. This does not cost you anything.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, to be of the age of majority in your province, and to use this site lawfully. You consent to be contacted about your request as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Third parties
The products, services and websites of our partners are governed by their own terms. Credit decisions and offers are made by them, not by us.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made, products offered or actions taken by lenders or other partners, or for indirect damages arising from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act (Quebec) or any other law that cannot be excluded.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. They are available in French and in English.
